History[]
Kogasha, a male Helephant, lived peacefully on Yago until the Draconian sorcerer Lyon Lorestriker pulled him away to the Tower of the Helephant in Wysteria, trapping his soul within a great jewel known as the Heart of the Helephant. This jewel would become the source of all of Lyon's magical power, draining it from Kogasha. The Wizard used a minor spell learned from Kogasha after fighting him to free the tormented Helephant from the Heart.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Yago was first mentioned by Kogasha inside the Tower of the Helephant during the side instance quest "The Helephant's Heart" in Wizard101, part of the side world of Wysteria released in 2011. It was mentioned again for the first time in a decade on a housing item displaying a cover of Spiral Geographic Magazine advertising "A Sightseer's Guide to Yago", found by data mining community The Atmoplex in August 2021.
