"Wyatt Chirp was their leader, the greatest lawman Cool Ranch ever saw!"
Timmy[src]

Wyatt Chirp was a Chicken lawman from Cool Ranch who was the founder and leader of the Magnificent Seven. He died in the line of duty, which caused the Seven to break up. He was buried at his homestead, known as the "Old Chirp Place".

Biography[]

At one point in Cool Ranch's history, the world was a lawless nightmare, with rangers who were supposed to do their job not even showing their faces to fight crime out of fear. Eventually, Wyatt Chirp decided to take the law into his own hands and cleaned up Cooper's Roost with his fists. Following this, Chirp decided to gather a band of heroes that would help to protect Cool Ranch and its people from the terrible crime that had plagued it for so long. The group, named the Magnificent Seven, consisted of himself as well as Calamity Jane Canary, Wild Bill Peacock, Duck Holliday, Buffalo Bill, Bat Masterson, and Billy the Kid.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Wyatt Chirp is a fictionalized adaptation of the real-life American lawman, Wyatt Earp (1848–1929).
  • Since the release of Pirate101 in 2012, Wyatt Chirp's killer and the manner in which he died have remained a mystery. In a post on the Pirate101 Message Boards in December 2012, Blind Mew confirmed that Chirp "died in the line of duty," but said that the precise circumstances of his death "we will keep hazy." Blind Mew did give some hints to Wyatt Chirp's death however, expressing that in his view, the death could have possibly been prevented by Buffalo Bill and Billy the Kid, and that this may be the reason for Billy the Kid's downwards spiral following the loss of his friend.
    • It is implied that Chirp's death was somehow related to the Pearl-Handled Peacemakers, a famous series of spark throwers made by Sam Colt. After making only six pairs, Colt discontinued the design and swore he would never make another "after what happened to Wyatt Chirp".[2]
