Wiki101 is a wiki-based online encyclopedia that contains detailed volunteer-provided information of the story and characters of the Spiral Games Universe, which contains Wizard101 and Pirate101 as well as various comics, digital series, videos, and short stories produced or released by KingsIsle Entertainment. The wiki was launched on March 4, 2014 as The Spiral Wiki and was later renamed to its current name on April 27, 2018. The wiki's single largest inspiration is Wookieepedia, though there are other inspirations such as Wowpedia and DC Extended Universe Wiki.
With 4,760 articles and 4 active users, Wiki101 is the single largest story and lore resource for KingsIsle games, though in the true nature of wikis it will never be complete and so is always looking for new contributors. If you are interested in contributing, visit our how to page.
Wiki101 is intended to be a community resource and not a primary source of in-universe or out-of-universe information. It simply summarizes information in the best way possible and points readers to the respective official sources. While Wiki101 is affiliated with the Extra Credits content creator program, the wiki itself is not directly owned or endorsed by KingsIsle Entertainment.
History
The Spiral Wiki (2014—2018)
The Spiral Wiki was created by H'jar of Shadows on March 4, 2014, though they only edited for that single day, and did not return to the the wiki thereafter. In the time that followed, users would still occasionally edit on the wiki, with the most popular article for years being List of worlds.
On August 5, 2017, MegaZeph (then known as ChrisGraslie and also known as Chris DeathRider) adopted The Spiral Wiki and was given Administrator and Bureaucrat rights after editing on the wiki over the course of nearly two months.
Wiki101 (2018—present)

The Spiral Wiki was renamed Wiki101 on April 27, 2018. The new name incorporated the "101" naming scheme of Wizard101 and Pirate101, with "Wiki," which has the same amount of syllables as "Wizard" and "Pirate."
On June 11, 2019, an official Wiki101 Discord server was created by MegaZeph, who is its owner.
On January 22, 2021, Wizloremaster became an Administrator for Wiki101, the first one to be appointed since the wiki's creation. Though, he was removed from the position several months later due to inactivity.
On May 11, 2022, Chris DeathRider launched the Voices of the Spiral (VotS) project. In just a little over a week, the VotS Twitter account gained over 500 followers and the recognition of the Wizard101 and Pirate101 Twitter accounts. Voices of the Spiral reached 1,000 followers on July 11, 2022, exactly two months after the account began.
On July 11, 2022, the official YouTube channel for Wiki101 was launched. On August 20, the Valiant Troupe guild was created, the official Wizard101 guild for Wiki101.
