W1:A
Administrators ("admins" for short or "sysops") are trusted Wiki101 users who are dedicated to keeping the community a safe place for everyone and making sure everything is running smoothly. They have a wide range of abilities, known as "sysop rights," which allow them to perform operations and complete tasks that regular users cannot. Administrators can be seen as leaders of the community, with users turning to them for advice and information, however they are not imbued with any real special authority and are equal to everyone else in terms of editorial responsibility.

Administrator abilities
Fandom's Wiki software has some important features that are restricted to the general public. Those features include:
Edit protected pages
- Directly edit protected pages. For information and guidelines on protected pages, see Help:Page protection.
- Protect and unprotect pages.
Page deletion and undeletion
- Delete pages and their history. Sometimes page deletion is a technical matter, in which a redirection page has to be removed to make way for renaming an article, or a page whose history has been broken up has to be deleted and the pieces recombined. Other times it's a matter of cleaning up simple junk edits on pages with no actual content, or removing material that has been pasted in from another site and infringes copyright.
- View and restore deleted pages and their history.
- Permanently delete images. This is a non-reversible change. Once a page is deleted from Wiki101, it's permanently deleted. To suggest an image to delete (after reading the policy), use the {{Delete}} template on an article. As with articles, image deletion is reversible, so to challenge a deletion you should contact an Administrator.
How can I become an administrator?
Anyone can be an administrator if nominated by another user in the community! Please note that you cannot nominate yourself. In order to become an administrator on Wiki101, there are some rules in place:
- You must be at least 13 years old in compliance with Fandom's Terms of Use.
- You must have at least six months of experience editing on the wiki.
- If you have been blocked for any reason within the last month, you are ineligible for nomination. If you have been blocked at all in the past, your nomination may be rejected.
In order to be nominate a user, you must get the permission of said user first (preferably on their Message Wall) before then posting a message on the Bureaucrat's Message Wall detailing the nomination. If there are no objections in 48 hours, the Bureaucrat will either approve or reject the nomination as deemed appropriate.
