Wallaru is a world in the Spiral. Zander is notably a former resident of Wallaru, where he spent several years in the tutelage of Wallaruvian Shaman learning all aspects of Life before leaving to pursue greater knowledge. Sometime prior to the awakening of the Borealis Titan by the Rat, rumors arose among the Dragonhorn Order that the famed Didgeri Dragon had resurfaced in Wallaru. After Dasein's rejection of Novus and its resident world powers, the Wizard was recalled to the Arcanum by Zander to tell them of his plan to cirvumvent Dasein's mental defenses and stop him before he could cause any harm to the Spiral by reverting to his true form and causing a large conflict. Zander reintroduced the Wizard to Sandiago as their guide to navigate the "unseen wilderness" of Wallaru.

Trivia

• Wallaru was first mentioned by Jaki Whisperwind in the storyline quest "Cave of Bad Seeds" in Wizard101. It was mentioned again in the side quest "Trial by Dragon's Fire" as the homeworld of the Didgeri Dragon. At the end of Novus, it was confirmed that Wallaru would be the next world in Arc 4.
• Wallaru as it appears in Wizard101 is inspired by Australia at the turn of the 20th century.
• Wallaru's name is a play on "Wallaroo," which is a real-life type of kangaroo native to Australia.
• There are art pieces in the Hall of Theurgy that are believed to be Zander's native world of Wallaru.
