Hey fellas, it's time for another article! For January 2024's Extra Credits objective, KingsIsle tasked us with creating something that describes our favorite in-game activity and encourages other to participate in it for the New Year. For this effort, I chose the new Guild Museum system which was added to the game alongside the Wallaru expansion on November 27th, 2023! So stick around as I present to you a guide describing what the Guild Museum system is, and how it works!
What's the Guild Museum?[]

The Guild Museum's default look.
I'm glad you asked! The Guild Museum is a structure that is located on the Museum Island, the newest addition to the Guild Housing domain. If you didn't already know, the Guild Housing is the shared housing space between all members of a Guild. Don't know what a Guild is? Check out this guide from our friends at Final Bastion!
The Guild Museum is the location of the Druidic Galleries, which are essentially museums themselves, dedicated to individual worlds of the Spiral. Each of the Galleries contain many different Exhibits based on locations and objects from the world that is its subject. From a lore perspective, the Galleries contain exact replications of the actual physical objects from each world made possible from blueprints provided by a material called Prima Materia, which is described as the "most intrinsic essence" of matter itself. As of the release of this article, the only Gallery that is currently available is the Avalon Gallery.
In order to unlock the Guild Museum itself, you and your Guildmates must complete the Quest "Guild Museum," which is picked up from Finn Celtus just under the tree at the center of the Guild Housing. This Quest will reward you with the Quintessence Reagent, which you can then use to unlock the Museum Island itself. Once this is done, 10 members of the Guild must come together and cast Magic Touch on the Ritual Marker.
How does it work?[]

The Prima Magnes.
Each Exhibit requires one or more different kinds of Prima Materia in order to unlock it and make it appear inside of the Gallery. This Prima Materia is acquired from various enemies in a world by using something called a Prima Magnetism Elixir, which allows you to collect the Prima Materia and will level-scale you to the world once you enter. To view which Prima Materia is required for an Exhibit, go to the pedestal in front of it and click on each of the icons to view the name and where exactly in the world you have to get it from.
In order to start the process of acquiring a Prima Magnetism Elixir, one member of a Guild must craft a Housing Item called a Quintescent Core, which can be acquired from Finn Celtus inside the Guild Museum for 90 Azoth or 1 Quintessence. This Core is used to power or "prime" the Prima Magnes, a magical artifact located to the southwest of the Museum Island, or to the left just after entering. Once the Quintescent Core is used, 2 or more Guild members (you cannot farm solo!) cast Magic Touch on the Prima Magnes and will receive a Prima Magnetism Elixir. The amount of people who cast will affect the strength of the Elixir! 2 to 5 people will mean you get 1 Prima Materia per creature defeated, while 6 to 11 people will mean you get 2 per, and 12+ people will mean you get 3 per. Keep in mind that the Prima Magnes has an almost 2-day cooldown, so make the most out of each farming session!
Once you've completed a whole set of Exhibits, you'll have to "promote" the Gallery as a whole to unlock more. This is done by casting Magic Touch on the podium behind Adam Usk! There are three "levels" to a Gallery, those being Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Why should I do it?[]

Look at all those doors!
Besides it being a fun Guild-wide activity to do with your friends, if you're someone who really enjoys the lore and/or aesthetic of a world like Avalon, then I would say putting in the work to get a Gallery fully completed is more than worth it! Building a shared museum based on magical replicas of the actual artifacts and locations from a world rather than "stealing" them (I'm looking at you, Royal Museum) is such an interesting concept in my opinion, and I'm excited to see how this system progresses over time. With the Avalon Gallery, there is also the very notable added incentive of there being exclusive housing items which can ONLY be crafted from Adam Usk once you've promoted your Gallery!
From my many experiences now leading the charge for Museum farming with my Guild Valiant Troupe, I'd say this is one of the most fun new side systems that the game has received in a long time, and I hope that if you're in a Guild that hasn't tried out the system yet that this article has piqued your interest!
