Tessa Truehart is the trusty lab assistant of Dog Tracy who stalks the streets of the Heap as the vigilante the Shadoe. One of the Heroes originally engineered by the Old One to rise above their peers and become his Scion, Truehart became a founding member of the League of Exemplary Personages following Dasein's sacrifice saving the Spiral from the World Synthesizer.
