The Human known as "The Pirate" is a famous pirate captain who was raised from an early age into a life of piracy. They are the child of the late Pirate Jenny, former member of Marco Pollo's crew, and an unidentified father.

Biography[]

The Pirate was born to two pirate parents, their mother Pirate Jenny having once been a part of Marco Pollo's crew. At some point, the Pirate's parents died, leaving them to be raised in another land in the Spiral. As a teenager, the Pirate was locked up by the Armada for treason. They were rescued by Boochbeard and Mr. Gandry and allied with Captain Horace Avery in exchange for protection from the Armada. The Pirate completed tasks for Avery, eventually getting involved in a plot to find the fabled city of El Dorado before the Armada.

"The Pirate" is an in-universe placeholder for the role of the player character in Pirate101. Although it is canon that the Pirate is a Human, their gender is left ambiguous as the player can choose either male or female.
