The Oasis is the central commons area in the world of Krokotopia. Located in the Oasis was the famous Pyramid of the Sun, which contains the tombs of various Kroks, such as the Nirini clan. The Oasis also contained a dock, where The Wizard used a boat to reach the Krokosphinx, as well as portals to the Tomb of Storms and Kembaalung.
History[]
The Oasis was home to the Mander people, before an island of Kroks arrived and enslaved them. During their time ruling Krokotopia, two main families, the Ahnic family and the Djeserit family, broke into war on multiple occasions. During the last Krok war, the Order of the Fang created the Krokonomicon to put the Ahnics and Djeserits to sleep, freeing the Manders from bondage.
Centuries after the Krok War, Professor Winthrop led the Royal Expeditionary Force of Marleybone to excavate the Pyramid of the Sun. Winthrop's group accidentally awoke the Kroks from their sleep and caused many of the Royal Force to flee to the Oasis.
Soon after the re-awakening, Malistaire Drake came to the Oasis, searching for the Krokonomicon to summon the Dragon Titan.
