Stars of the Spiral was launched on May 31, 2010.
On June 18, 2012, Stars of the Spiral was recognized as an official Pirate101 blog/fansite and on July 13 the site became an official UK blog/fansite of Wizard101, followed by an official Wizard101 fansite in the US on September 13.
