- Snorri Oysterbloom appears in Wizard101 and is voiced by Eric Bloom, most well known as the lead vocalist of the band Blue Öyster Cult.[1] Oysterbloom appears in the quests "Sitting Bear" (originally known as "Does a Bear Sit in the Woods") and "Fall Tree Bowers."[2][3] According to Eric Bloom, he was visiting the KingsIsle offices when "one thing led to another," and eventually he was allowed to create two new quests for Wizard101, a game he had been playing himself.[4]
- Snorri Oysterbloom's surname is an obvious combination of the "Öyster" in Blue Öyster Cult and Eric Bloom's own surname.
