"You dare defy the will of Setesh the Destroyer, Pharaoh of Krokotopia and the Seven Skyways!"
―Setesh to the Wizard[src]

Empress Setesh, known as Setesh the Destoyer, was the Pharaoh of Krokotopia and the Seven Skyways in an alternate timeline discovered by the Professor and the Wizard where the Kroks evaded the Great Sleep and the Manders remained enslaved, with the Tuts creating an Immortal Tut Empire. She is a descendant of Krokopatra, Queen of Krokotopia in ancient times, as well as Apophis and Sakar. The corrupted timeline in which Setesh existed was created by a Time Butterfly and upon the Wizard using the Professor's Doohickey to reverse the polarity of the Time Butterfly's neutron flow, the timeline was corrected and Setesh never came to exist.

Biography[]

Early career[]

In the alternate timeline, Setesh was a successor to Apophis and Sakar, former Pharoahs who ruled after the time of the Great Sleep. She was a cruel and unrelenting ruler, continuing the harsh values set by the ancestors of Krokotopia after the Great Sleep was attempted.

Mander executions[]

Sometime into her rule, Setesh ordered that three members of the Mander Rebellion, including Zan'ne, be executed in the Oasis. Just as it was about to happen, the Wizard and the Professor arrived from the B.O.X., and the Wizard engaged in battle with and defeated the three Krok executioners, to the anger of Setesh. After freeing the Manders and getting some further information on how the timeline was corrupted from Zan'ne, the Wizard and the Professor pursued Setesh and won against her in a duel, after which the Professor asked Setesh what happened with the Great Sleep, to which Setesh asked her how she knew about the situation, given that her family kept it a secret so no one could ever attempt it again.[1]

  • In ancient Egyptian religion, Setesh was one of the names for Set, one of the gods of Egypt and the father of Anubis. It is likely that Setesh the Destroyer was named after the god, though Set was male.
