Scott Phillips, also known by his nickname "Grimli,"[1] was the Director of MMO Software Engineering at KingsIsle Entertainment from December 2005 to August 2014 and additionally the Lead Programmer of Wizard101 from August 2005 to July 2010.[2] He also worked on programming for the mobile game WizardBlox,[3] and briefly appears in "The Development of Wizard101," the final episode of the four-part docuseries The Making of Wizard101.[4] After departing KingsIsle, Scott Phillips was the Vice President of Development at J. Todd Coleman's company ArtCraft Entertainment from 2014 to 2015, which developed the MMO Crowfall. He now works at Aspyr. Other previous companies that Phillips worked at include Origin Systems, Sierra Studios, and TKO Software.[2] His game credits notably include Ultima Online and The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey.[1]
