The Sacred Yarn is an ancient enchanted rope of infinite length which is safeguarded by the Order of the Sacred Yarn, a monastic order based out of Catmandu, a reclusive region in the outer reaches of the world of MooShu. The Golden Horde, a group of nomadic Horse-Lords from MooShu's Grassy Steppes, raided Catmandu in search of String Caster Fuzhi, who they knew could supply them with the Sacred Yarn so they could reach the Stone of Heaven.[1]
