Russell "Russ" Hughes is the Lead Cinematics & VFX Artist at KingsIsle Entertainment since July 2022. He was previously Principal in this role from December 2005 to July 2022, prior to being promoted.[1] Hughes has worked on both Wizard101 and Pirate101 since their inceptions,[2][3] and has produced and edited promotional content for the former including "Zafaria - a behind the scenes story!" and other videos.[1] Prior to KingsIsle, Hughes notably worked at Ion Storm and contributed to the titles Daikatana and Deus Ex, and Anachronox. He also worked on Max Payne and Axis & Allies.[4]
