Don Rodrigo de la Vega, also known as El Toro, is a vigilante hero that protects Santo Pollo from the Banditoads and other criminals. He is the second Bull to to take on the mantle of El Toro after the original, his adopted father Don Rafael.

Biography[]
Rodrigo was originally a young resident of Cool Ranch. He was orphaned following the massacre of his family by a gang of Banditoad desperadoes. Seeking revenge, he was eventually stopped by a figure under the name of El Toro, whose identity was revealed to be a Mustang named Don Rafael de la Vega. He later adopted the young bull and trained him to be his successor to the name, teaching him morals of justice and nobility in order to protect the people of Santo Pollo.
During Rodrigo's training, Don Rafael would later have a child of his own, Carolina. Carolina longed to learn the ways of El Toro like her adoptive brother, but he refused to teach her. Rodrigo and Carolina eventually fell deeply in love, but Don Rafael refused Rodrigo's request to marry her. Eventually, Rodrigo began to train Carolina in secret, to his father's rage. He renounced Rodrigo and abandoned Santo Pollo, while Carolina left to Skull Island, in an attempt to make a name for herself and later becoming Mustang Sally.
The Pirate, involved in the hunt for Captain Blood's treasure, resurrects Don Rafael's spirit and he urges them to reunite Rodrigo and Carolina. With the help of Tonka, they are able to locate Carolina in Flotsam, and bring her back to Santo Pollo, who accepts Rodrigo's proposal and announces the news to Friar Cluck. Later, following their union, Rodrigo joins The Pirate's crew, with Carolina vowing to protect Santo Pollo in his place. However, if the pirate's class is a Swashbuckler, Carolina joins the pirate's crew as well.
