Ravenwood School of Magical Arts

Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, also known as Ravenwood Academy or simply Ravenwood, is a young wizard's academy that is located in Ravenwood in Wizard City. It was founded by Merle Ambrose and Bartleby.

The school's motto is Veneficus Iunctum, En Magus Nos Fides, which means "Wizards Unite, In Magic We Trust" translated.

History[]

Foundation[]

When traveling through the Spiral, school founder Merle Ambrose came across Bartleby, a Magic Tree who had resided in his spot ever since the destruction of the First World. Curing Bartleby of his loneliness, Ambrose, and Bartleby quickly became friends. Together, they founded Wizard City and Ravenwood School of Magical Arts as a way for young people from all over the Spiral to learn wizardry.

Death of Sylvia Drake[]

Former Life professor, Sylvia Drake, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Her husband Malistaire Drake, who also worked at Ravenwood as the former Death professor, was enraged and ripped his school from its spot, throwing it into Nightside.
