Purnitius Pawtrey

Lord Purnitius Pawtrey was the owner of the Darkmoor Manor. He was the husband of Delores Pawtrey, and the father of Francis Pawtrey and Elizabeth Pawtrey, and brother of Andrew Pawtrey. The Darkmoor Manor belonged to the Pawtrey family for a dozen generations, and eventually Purnitius Pawtrey became owner of the Manor. He had two children with his wife Delores, Francis and Elizabeth, and Purnitius promised his brother Andrew that he would come to inherit the Manor. However, Purnitius came into extreme debt and was forced to auction the Manor, and all the inheritance he gave to his brother was furniture with nowhere to put it, and only gave his son Francis clothing.^[1]
