Peacocks are a sentient race of Bird in the Spiral. They are similar to the smaller, non-sentient creatures known as Dazzlefeathers.[1]

In an entry in the journal of Stallion Quartermane, the explorer wrote about the robbery of the Immortal Tapestry from the Jade Palace by Big Coi and his gang of rogue Samoorai. He remarked that the crooks were easier to spot than "a peacock on a gray street."[2]
