The Outer Void, also known as the Outer Dark, is a mysterious and dangerous place located outside of the worlds of the Spiral. It is purposely avoided by ships traveling the Spiral threads, as there are large and hungry creatures that inhabit it.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The Outer Dark was first mentioned by Blind Mew (Sam Johnson) in a post on the Pirate101 Message Boards on November 9, 2012, where he stated that once ships leave the Spiral threads there are "things" that swim through the Outer Dark that are "..very big. And very hungry."[1]
- A second mention by King Artorius (Jason Durall) on the Wizard101 Message Boards on May 8, 2014 said: "The Outer Void is a strange and dangerous place. Not many people know much about it."[2]
