Nidavellir is a ancient and abandoned[1] undercity[2] located outside the settlement in mainland Grizzleheim. It is a place of death and passage.[1] It was the home of Jotun and his two brothers, Grettir and Ullik.

Purpose and abandonment[]
In ancient times, Nidavellir was an inhabited city. It was representative of the concepts of death and passage. However, it would eventually be abandoned.[1]
Threat of Jotun[]
During the threat of the Coven, King Valgard Goldenblade of Grizzleheim spoke with envoys of the Ravens and Wolves so that the world could forge a new peace. However the Grendel, Jotun arose to stop this peace, threatening the land once again. He issued a challenge to the Wizard as an attempt to get revenge for his kin, hearing of the Wizard's many battles. All three Grendels were defeated, doing what generations of Grizzleheim's warriors could not do. Valgard called the Wizard the greatest warrior he had ever met, and assured them that all of Grizzleheim was in awe of their mighty deed.[2]
