Notable prisoners[]
- Halston Balestrom, an Electrical Engineering student at Frogby Academy – imprisoned for grand larceny after the heist of the Opal of Ojai from the Royal Museum. Freed by the Wizard.[1][2]
- Fan Flanders, Frog burglar from the slums of Frogbottom in Cramshire – imprisoned by the City Watch for the attempted burglary of the signet ring of Lord Baron Bufo, but later escaped.[3]

In the real world, Newgate Prison was a 12th century prison just outside of the City of London, at the corner of Newgate Street and Old Bailey Street. It was built in 1188, and was extended and rebuilt many times before ultimately being demolished in 1902.
