Nana's Olde Fashioned Karamelle Delights Co., also known as Nana's Karamelle Delights, the Nana Corporation, or simply Nana, is a business conglomerate based out of Karamelle which specializes in candies and other treats. Founded by Dagmar von Sweetsmeyer (the "Grand Nana"), the company delivered various candies to buyers throughout the Spiral including Wizard City, with over 1,000 different products sold. Over time, the company grew to an enormous size and became an authoritarian regime which ruled over Karamelle with an iron fist, employing nearly everyone in the world. However, many jobs were automated by Nana's robotic Gummies, with communities such as Nibbleheim being financially cut off as a result and falling into ruin. The Happiness Initiative was devised over decades as a plan to expand Nana's influence to the entire Spiral, but these plans were foiled by W.I.T.C.H. with the help of the Wizard. Dagmar von Sweetsmeyer was detained, and her executive powers were removed. The people of Karamelle then took over the company, with Greta filling in as Nana's new CEO.
History[]
Nana's Karamelle Delights was founded decades prior to the Wizard's arrival in Karamelle.[1] When creating her company, Nana took the first batch of her treats out of the oven, and the word "delightful" came to mind, which put the "Delights" in Nana's Karamelle Delights.[2]
After the situation in Empyrea, Nana's Karamelle Delights joined the social media platform Tweeter to further advertise her growing company.
Not long after, Nana's Olde Fashioned Karamelle Delights Promotions Associate and Regional Hiring Manager Bryce Crispie arrived in Wizard City for a promotional giveaway in the Commons for the wizards traveling through, dressed up as the Nana's corporate mascot. While announcing the giveaway of one free Pet Snack for every wizard, Krispie encountered the Wizard and immediately recognized them, later offering them a job within the company. After coming on board, the first of these tasks the Wizard partook in was hanging up advertisement signs in different areas of Wizard City that the Marketing Director had designated on a map. They were successful in doing so, and so Krispie promoted them to Promotions Associate and Assistant to the Regional Hiring Manager, also giving them their uniform. Krispie however changed his mind, instead promoting the Wizard to Senior Delivery Associate, giving them the task of delivering a special order of chocolates for Lydia Greyrose, which Krispie was supposed to have delivered three days earlier. The delivery was successful.
