Mycin Frosthammer was a student of Ravenwood who was a member of the Alchemy Club, a group of students who were practicing alchemy without supervision of their teachers. When Professor Hargrove suspected that they had created the club, Mycin and the students poured all of their alchemy experiments down into the drains underneath Wizard City, and inadvertedly created a trash monster known as the "Trash King", Detritus. With the help of the Wizard, Detritus was killed and Mycin and his friends formally disbanded the Alchemy Club, returning the Alchemy Book that they had stolen from the Forbidden Magics section of the Wizard City Library.

- Mycin Frosthammer is visually identical to Garrick Goldenhawk, one of the students that were held by General Akilles in the Cyclops Lane questline in Wizard City.
