Carolina de la Vega, also known as Mustang Sally, is a fencer from Santo Pollo in Cool Ranch.

Biography[]
Carolina was born to Don Rafael de la Vega, known at the time as the masked hero El Toro. Don Rafael had an apprentice and adoptive son, Rodrigo, that Carolina fell deeply in love with. He taught her to fence in secret, something that was brought to light when Rodrigo asked Don Rafael for his daughter's hand in marriage. This action made him angry, as did the secret training she was receiving. After Don Rafael renounced Rodrigo, she ran away from home to Skull Island, where she would become a pirate and take on the name Mustang Sally.
As Mustang Sally, she would become involved in a plot to break into Fort Elena to retrieve Napoleguin, former Emperor of Polaris. Gortez needed him broken out so that the Monquistan Civil War could come to a conclusion in his favour. She is caught, however, and spends time locked up in Fort Elena for her actions. This jail time comes to an end when the Pirate breaks into Fort Elena to find her and bring her back to Santo Pollo. Mustang Sally and Rodrigo are reunited and are married before he joins the Pirate's crew. She vows to protect Santo Pollo in his place, though this is different for Swashbucklers, who receive her as a companion.
