Moolinda Wu is the Professor of the School of Life at Ravenwood School of Magical Arts. A native of MooShu, she is a member of the House of Wu, a royally affiliated dynasty of gardeners who were responsible for tending to Emperor Yoshihito's Garden of Eternal Brightness.

Before becoming a professor, Wu was the apprentice of Yoshihito, who took her in and taught her the ways of wizardry. The two grew close, before they parted ways, as Wu became the professor of the School of Life by the special request of headmaster Merle Ambrose following the death of Sylvia Drake.

Early life

Moolinda Wu was born in MooShu during the month of May. Growing up, Wu was a child of the House of Wu, a clan of gardeners that are responsible for tending the Garden of Eternal Brightness, the personal sanctuary of the Emperor of MooShu. She was seen as being highly skilled, mastering some of the most complex gardening spells with an ease that was far beyond her years.^[1]

Moolinda's uncle, Rookwon Wu, realized that her potential ran deeper than the art of gardening. Rookwon sought an audience with Emperor Yoshihito for his esteemed council. Though gardening magic was strong in the House of Wu, it had been long since the family had produced any children that were capable of great feats of wizardry. The Emperor was impressed with Moolinda's skill, and so he declared he would take a personal role in her education as her Master.

Moolinda happily served as the Emperor's apprentice and learned the way of Theurgy, though she still tended to the his personal garden in the hours her schedule allowed for.

Appointment to School of Life

After the death of Sylvia Drake, Merle Ambrose immediately sent a message to the Emperor of MooShu, his good friend, and asked if he would part with his greatest apprentice so that she may become the new Life Professor. After the Emperor agreed, Wu was appointed as the new professor of the School of Life at Ravenwood.
