Moo Manchu is an evil sorcerous mastermind from MooShu. Following the defeat of the Amber Horde and Lo Pan, Manchu announced his return to the people of Subata via a scroll, and requested that they send the Pirate, who had defeated General Tso and ended his civil war, to the Tower of Winter's Fury. Manchu, who had tried to use the civil war as an opportunity to seize the Imperial Throne and was also previously bested by the Pirate in the Tomb of Kow Cheng, felt that he had been wronged twice and so brought the Pirate to the tower, which he had redubbed the Tower of Moo Manchu, to make them suffer.
