Monterey Jack is a former member of the Red Sash Gang who worked under Red Sash member Johnny Ringo. After his second encounter with the Pirate in Echo Cave in the race for Burly's Gold, he joined their crew to set himself straight.

Biography[]

Monterey Jack first encountered the Pirate in the Hidden Valley Ranch, known hideout of the Red Sash Gang, when they were seeking to recover the Sacred Charms and bring them to Seven Storms.[1] During Milo Graytail's first promotion, Monterey Jack was seen again in Sandstone Mine, having stolen the Mining Machine with the Red Sash that Graytail needed for his business opportunity with Tom Tinkney.[2] His most recent appearance was the final showdown against Dan Drake, where, after recognizing the Pirate, Jack disowned the Red Sash Gang and opted to join the Pirate's crew instead to stay out of trouble.[3]
