Mellori is a powerful Semi-Divine wizard, who is the daughter of Grandmother Raven, though as a child she was raised by Baba Yaga at Raven's request, and a student at Ravenwood.
Since they met in Polaris, Mellori accompanied the Wizard on several adventures, including stopping the Rat from destroying the Sky Anchor, and foiling Grandfather Spider's plan to destroy the Spiral by reversing the Sands of Time.
Not long after, Mellori was kidnapped by the Cabal, who were collaborating with Grandfather Spider. She was held by Bat, the youngest child of Grandfather Spider. Medulla used his mind control abilities to force Mellori to break the Paradox Chain of Ice and Fire. Bat then attacked Mellori and stole her Luminiferous Essence to stop his father from using her to destroy the spiral.
Mellori fell into a coma. While her physical body is transported back to the Arcanum, her mind is in the Astral Plane, talking to her mother. Mellori discovered that Grandmother Raven is no better than Grandfather Spider, who wishes to destroy the spiral in order to create a new one. Mellori then enters the Reverie and learns that she is the heart of Raven. She was removed from Raven because she feared that her love for Spider would become a weakness.
The Wizard becomes the Scion of Bartleby and wakes her up. Bat returns Mellori's essence, and the two agreed to a truce in order to save Mandalla. In the fight with the Storm Titan, Mellori breaks the final Paradox Chain that protected the Chaos Heart. Being near the Chaos Heart allowed Grandfather Spider to realize his feelings for Raven again, and both Spider and Raven apologized and declared their love for each other. Mellori also combined her essence with Bat's to help The Wizard fight the Aethyr Titan.

Mellori was created by Grandmother Raven, and it is assumed that for a period of time she was raised by Raven, but she was eventually put in the care of Baba Yaga.
Meeting the Wizard
One day the Wizard, who was on a quest in Polaris to find Baba Yaga so they could defeat the Rat, arrived in the Veiled Vale. At this time, Mellori was building a snowman, and told the Wizard to find the witch in the Statue Garden, as she was not inside her house.
