- Madame Vadima was originally voiced by Hadley Eure.[1] With the release of Pirate101's "Through Death's Door" story update, the character was recast and Jill C. Holmes took over the role.[2]
- Madame Vadima's orb and the way she plays with it for her idle animation seem to be based on the "gravity balls" used for contact juggling, perhaps most recognizable by the popular but controversial Fushigi.
