- "I am the Loremaster, and I have collected powerful spells from across the Spiral."
- ―Loremaster[src]
The Loremaster was a Battle Wizard from Dragonspyre who served as a collector of spell cards. Even in Undeath, she continued this role.
Biography[]
Maestro's meddling[]
- "What do you want? I have no time for novices. The Drakes' spells? You wish to challenge me for them?"
- ―The Loremaster to the Wizard prior to fighting them.[src]
In an attempt to change the timeline so that the Drakes would never come to Wizard City and the Grand General Sylvia Spitfire would rule the Spiral with an iron fist, the Maestro convinced Cyrus and Malistaire Drake to abandon their studies of magic, and had Sylvia, Malistaire's fiancee, progress to the Command Academy of the Dragonspyre Army and immediately gain the rank of Grand General. After their conversation with the Maestro, Malistaire took both his and Cyrus's spell decks and gave them to the Loremaster, barring them from learning at Dragonspyre Academy any longer. The Loremaster would engage in a duel with the Wizard, who had been sent back in time by the Professor using his B.O.X. to stop the Maestro's plans and wanted to retrieve Malistaire and Cyrus's spell decks so that they would learn magic again.[1]
Death and dueling the Wizard[]
- "Now, Wizard, you face a true Battle Wizard! Defend yourself!"
- ―Loremaster to the Wizard[src]
Sometime prior to or during the Dragon Titan's attack on Dragonspyre, Loremaster died. In death, she continued her role and would still protect her collection of spells. When she met the Wizard, she challenged them to enter her chamber and fight her for the chance to learn one of her spells. The Wizard won the duel, and Loremaster complimented them on their ability and invited them to duel her again if they still wished to see the power of Lore spells.[2]
Trivia[]
The Loremaster was a popular boss for farming in Wizard101 until Summer 2022, due to the fact she had 25 different permanent spells in her drop table. Loremaster herself even had her own spell.
