For the character used as Ruben's alias, see Dalia Falmea.
Leah T. Ruben (born March 1979), known by her alias "Professor Falmea," is the Chief Operating Officer at KingsIsle Entertainment since June 2023, and as such is the head of development for the studio's MMORPGs Wizard101 and Pirate101 as well as the overall management of the studio's operations. Since 2016, she has also been a constant member and former co-host of KingsIsle Live. Ruben is an occassional voice actor, having provided several voices to Wizard101 since its launch. She is perhaps most notably the voice of Renee Wooften, a character introduced during Wizard101's Decaversary in 2018 who returned for the Wizard City Underground expansion in 2019. About twice a year, Ruben used to publish her Producer's Letter for Wizard101 and Pirate101, which served as a sort of outline for new content and what the future would hold for both of KingsIsle's MMORPGs. This duty was handed off to former Producer Renee Wooten, and ended once Wooten departed in January 2022, the last Producer's Letter being published in December 2021.
Ruben joined KingsIsle in the summer of 2007 during the studio's production of Wizard101 and became Associate Producer on the project. She worked in KingsIsle's sound department alongside T.J. O'Leary for several years, and was promoted to Producer in June 2010 during production of the Celestia expansion for Wizard101. In January 2015, not long after the release of Khrysalis Part 2, she was promoted to Senior Producer of MMO Content, and became responsible for production of Pirate101 in addition to Wizard101. In January 2020, she was given the position of Lead Producer. In January 2021, shortly after KingsIsle's acquisition by Media and Games Invest, she was promoted to Game Director. Then in August 2022, she was promoted again to Senior Studio Director. Before KingsIsle, Ruben worked at Sony Computer Entertainment America from 2001 to 2002 and Sony Online Entertainment from 2002 to 2007.
