Kroks are a species of sentient reptile that exist in the Spiral. They were the main ruling species of Krokotopia before they were put in a Great Sleep.

History[]
For thousands of years, the Manders lived in harmony on a small desert world. This changed when an island full of starving and weak Kroks arrived on the lands and due to their caring and hospitable nature, the manders took care of them and offered their generosity to aid them. However, the kroks soon began taking advantage of the manders and eventually enslaved them and became the true rulers of the world now known as Krokotopia.
The Djeserit family and the Ahnic family were the two most powerful families of the Krok species. Both families shared their power as they ruled over the land. Eventually, the two families married together and strengthened their grasp on Krokotopia
Eventually, Alhazred, an old and wise Krok formed the Order of the Fang, a secret group of Kroks who were disgusted by the current state of Krokotopia and the mistreatment of the manders. This group banded together and wrote the Krokonomicon in order to put the kroks into a Great Sleep and give the world back to the native Manders.
