Kan Po is a Goat who was arrested by the Armada for sedition, ultimately being held on board the Erebus with the Pirate. They would free Kan Po and escape with him, leading to Po joining their crew.
Biography[]
Kan Po had his home destroyed by the The Golden Horde at an early age, and ventured endlessly around the spiral for adventure. For some time he was servant of a great scholar and read his master’s library of ancient philosophy and poetry. Inspired by this, Kan Po tried to make a living out of poetry, but never worked out and was reduced to poverty and hunger.
When a Moodhist monk found Kan Po starving under a Yum-Yum tree, he was taken with his mastery of ancient lore. and challenged Kan Po to turn his back on material wealth, to fill his spirit as he had filled his mind. Kan Po accepted and became a humble monk, traveling across the Spiral helping the unfortunate, dispensing ancient wisdom to any who would listen. However, the Armada accused him for sedition and Deacon imprisoned him on the Erebus. Fortunately, Kan Po would escape with his encounter of the Pirate.
Personality and traits[]
Out of all the starter companions, Kan Po seems to be the most mild-mannered, in terms of mannerisms and speech, and would refer to the Pirate as "Dragonfly" for unclear reasons.
