Jesse Daniel Scoble, also known by his alias "King Artorius," is a Canadian video game writer and designer who was the former Creative Design Lead and Senior Content Designer for Wizard101 at KingsIsle Entertainment. He initially served as Senior Content Designer and Senior Writer after being brought on to KingsIsle in February 2011, before taking on the Creative Design Lead role from Jason Durall in January 2014.[1] Scoble was a writer for all the worlds of Arc 2, beginning with Zafaria in 2011, and culminating with the release of Khrysalis Part 2 in 2014, the writing for which Scoble was in charge of.[2] He left KingsIsle in June 2015,[1] but was credited as an additional writer, designer, and artist for Polaris, released in 2015, and an additional writer and additional designer for Mirage, released in 2016.[2] Following his time at KingsIsle, Scoble worked at Ubisoft Montreal from 2016 to 2021, notably writing for Watch Dogs 2 (2016), Assassin's Creed Origins (2017), Far Cry 5 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey (both 2018), and Hyper Scape (2020).[3]
