Jeff Toney, also known by his alias "Gobbler King," is the Principal Artist at KingsIsle Entertainment since April 2005.[1] He is most notably the artist who invented[2] and creates all the "doodles" for Wizard101 and the associated Abracadoodle web comic,[3] but he has also done environmental modeling and texturing including the creation of the Commons,[2] UI art, 2D sprite art, character concepts, and marketing artwork for Wizard101,[1] assisted with the Puppet Shows for Pirate101,[3] and illustrated Gamma Plans the Party.[4] He also appeared in "The Art & Animation of Wizard101," the third part of The Making of Wizard101,[5] has written several articles for the KingsIsle Blog,[6] and appeared as a co-host on KingsIsle Live.[7] In March 2024, he notably created the official icon for the fan-run Voices of the Spiral project.[8] Before working at KingsIsle, Toney was an artist for Shadowbane at Wolfpack Studios.[1]
