Jack Hallow is a Scarecrow that gives Wizards special activities to do throughout Wizard City during the Hallowe'en season. Among the Wizards that participated in these activities was the Wizard. Hallow is the brother of Jack Crow, Jack O'Lantern, Jack Straw, and Pumpkin Jack.

Jack Hallow and his brothers Jack Crow, Jack O'Lantern, Jack Straw, and Pumpkin Jack were raised by their mother. All of his mother's sons including himself were named Jack, something Hallow attributed (perhaps jokingly) to her "hollow" head.[1]
Hallowe'en fun in Wizard City[]
When the Wizard was still a student of Ravenwood, Jack Hallow and his brothers came to Wizard City for the Hallowe'en season and the young student participated in several fun Hallowe'en activities for the season that they were given rewards for. Beginning in the Commons, Hallow had them find 10 different Jack O'Lanterns around the area,[2] followed by catching 10 blue ghosts in the Shopping District.[3] As a little refresher, Hallow sent them to bob for apples in Golem Court,[4] before sending them off to find 10 red ghosts in the Commons,[5] and then another session of bobbing for apples, this time in the Shopping District.[6] For their third task of catching ghosts, the Wizard was sent to Cyclops Lane to gather 10 orange ghosts,[7] followed by their third task of bobbing apples, this time in Ravenwood.[8] For their last ghost-gathering quest, Hallow sent them to gather 10 pink ghosts in Firecat Alley.[9] They then embarked on the last quest of bobbing for apples, with the final barrel in the Haunted Cave.[10]
After all of Jack Hallow's Hallowe'en quests were completed, it was now time for the Wizard to seek out Hallow's four brothers across Wizard City for more activities, the first of which was Jack Straw on Unicorn Way,[11][12] followed by Jack O'Lantern on Triton Avenue,[13][14] Pumpkin Jack on Cyclops Lane,[15][16] and Jack Crow on Firecat Alley.[17][18]

- Jack Hallow was added to Wizard101 with the beginning of the Hallowe'en celebrations in October 2008. He was originally located in a spot in Wizard City's Commons that later became home to Prospector Zeke and Eloise Merryweather, before being moved to a location in front of the pond, where he has remained ever since.
