Ymir is the Titan known as the fearsome Ice Titan. After the defeat of Malistaire Drake, Kol Shadowsong and the Coven attempted to awaken and anger Ymir to make him bring on the apocalyptic event known as the Everwinter. Their plot was eventually foiled by the Wizard, who fought the Sons of Ymir (Nordri, Austri, Sudri, and Vestri) in order to stop the Coven from carrying out their plans.
Not long after his creation, Ymir was involved in the Titan War, a long and brutal war between the Titans that ended with the destruction of the First World. Like the Storm and Fire Titan, Ymir has remained in slumber since the war ended following a spell put on them by Bartleby in order to prevent any further destruction. After the war ended, the pieces left over from the First World were bound together into the Spiral by Bartleby and Grandmother Raven using both of their magicks combined as well as a Borealis Seam.
