- The Hall of Heroes is based on the Hall of Justice, the fictional headquarters of the Justice League in various DC Comics media. The Hall of Justice made its first appearance in the first episode of the 1970s animated series Super Friends, which aired on September 8, 1973. It would soon make its way into the DC Comics mainstream as a staple of the Justice League.
- The Hall of Justice was based on the Cincinnati Union Terminal, and as a adaptation of the Hall of Justice, the Hall of Heroes retains a major resemblance to that structure.
