The Green Men (singular: Green Man), also spelled Greenmen,[1] were a sentient humanoid species that resembled a tree, with leaves on top of their heads. They were considered a form of Treant.[2]
Background[]
The Green Men were a tall and lanky form of Treant.[2] One of their defining characteristics were their "mustaches," long vine-like whiskers underneath their nose. During Lord Bramble's attempt to reclaim Wysteria from development, the Green Men overran Tanglewood Way, and were responsible for the theft of the Spiral Cup under Bramble's orders.

- The Greenman sapling pet in Wizard101 seems to be directly based off of "Baby Groot" as he appeared in Marvel Studios' Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017).
