Ernest Bovine was an Enforcer in the Moo Crew, operating out of the Heap in Lemuria. He left the gang after encountering the Shadoe within the Moo Cafe, who used her Mind Talisman to make him have the realization he had wasted years of his life pursuing a life of crime.[1]

Joining the Moo Crew[]
Ernest Bovine once made a bicycle himself out of scrap metal he had found but it was stolen from him by a thief who he never was able to catch. This event sent Bovine down a dark path, joining the Moo Crew gang. He would see the thief's face in the eyes of every intruder.[1]
Encounter with the Shadoe[]
- "Well, well, well, looky what we got here."
"Ernest Bovine."
"That's - wait, huh? That's... that's my name. Nobody says my name without my permission. Prepare to get trampled."
"No, no, we're not doing that. And why do you even want to, Ernest? Is it because of that time your bike got stolen?"
"I mean... I made it myself out of scrap I found. Never did catch the thief. But I sees his face in the eyes of every intruder. What am I doing? What have I become? I wasted years of my life on this anger. I'm gonna go make a new bike." - ―Ernest Bovine and the Shadoe[src]
When the Shadoe, accompanied by the Wizard, entered the Moo Cafe to find Bumbles, Ernest Bovine was the first to confront them. The Shadoe revealed his true name using her Mind Talisman, which shocked Bovine. He asserted that nobody says his name without his permission and attempted to initiate a fight, but the Shadoe stopped him, asking why he even wanted to fight. She asked if it was because of the time his bike was stolen, and he confirmed this to be true. He stopped and had a moment of realization of the man he had become and that he had wasted years of his life living a life of crime, and promptly left the Moo Crew to make a new bike.[1]
