"You have proved yourself worthy, student of Death. Mastery over your fear of the unknown is the first step to greater knowledge. Tell your instructor that you have my approval."
―Elder Seer[src]

The Elder Seer is a Wraith that gave approval to Dworgyn for the Wizard to learn the spell Empower, after they managed to capture the War Oni in a Phylactery Shard and cleansed the shard in the Well of Spirits at the Tomb of Storms.

Biograpy[]

Calling the Wizard back to the School of Death, Dworgyn told them of how Death had been all around MooShu, and how there were many Oni to deal with. In order to capture the dreaded War Oni, the Wizard had to collect a Phylactery Shard from Krokhotep, so that they could capture the Oni within the Shard and then transport him to the Well of Spirits in the Tomb of Storms, hence dispelling the Oni. Krokhotep had a Phylactery Shard, but it needed to be polished first, so it was cleaned by Torrence using his rain waters. After capturing the War Oni in the shard, it was taken to the Well of Spirits and cleansed.[1]

As the final part of the journey, Dworgyn sent the Wizard to a foggy clearing at the end of the street in the Haunted Cave. In that clearing, the Wizard threw down the Phylactery Shard, summoning the Elder Seer, who told them they had proven themselves worthy, and told them to tell Dworgyn they had his approval.
