This article is about a fictional subject from the Spiral Games Universe.

Dragonspyre Academy was a school of magic located on Dragonspyre. It was created in honor of Duke Sebastien, and served as one of the most prominent schools of magic in the Spiral before it was destroyed many years later by the attack of the Dragon Titan and the Titan Army.

History[]

Foundation[]

After the end of the Century War, the wizards and witches of Dragonspyre turned to the creation of knowledge crystals. Knowledge was reserved for royalty, though it didn't stay that way.

Sometime after, Rydall the Conqueror inadvertently released a magical plague onto his duchy. Duke Sebastian fought with the Lords of Dragonspyre to find a cure. His bravery then prompted the creation of Dragonspyre Academy.

Cataclysm of the Dragon Titan[]

Years later, the Dragon Titan was unleashed onto Dragonspyre and destroyed much of the world, killing most of its citizens. Dragonspyre Academy was affected by this, with all of the schools except Fire and Death being burned by hot magma. The Titan Army killed each and every Magic Tree that was living in front of the schools, but left Ashley the Fire Tree and the Death Tree.

Post-Cataclysm[]

Nearly a decade after the defeat of Malistaire Drake, the Wizard returned to Dragonspyre Academy to bury the Knowledge Crystal containing the last will of Prince Viggor in the Sacred Ground in front of the wizard statue.[1]

Schools of Dragonspyre Academy[]

Before it was fully abandoned, Dragonspyre Academy was home to many different magic schools based on each of the elements of magic. All but the School of Fire were destroyed.
