Dr. Neaux is a mad scientist who was obsessed with granting reptiles hair. He crashed his Riverboat in the Night Mire Swamp, unleashing creatures like Glowbugs and Bearded Dragons into the swamp. After much calculation and alchemy, he was able to genetically modify unwilling Gators belonging to the Bayou, giving them hair like humans. The Wizard soon arrived to try to resolve the situation and upon entering the Mire would encounter Neaux for the first time. After being bested, Neaux took off, and by the time the Wizard chased him down and found him again he had used his Reptili-Hair Elixir to grow a blonde mullet. Though, it did not last long, and a second win by the Wizard would take away Neaux's hair as well as foil his plan for good.[1]

- Dr. Neaux first appears in the Night Mire Swamp Gauntlet in Wizard101, which was released on April 11, 2023.[2] The gauntlet was briefly available on Test Realm for the "Rate My Stitch Update" on March 14, 2023,[3] but was made fully available for testing on March 21, 2023.[4]
