Dorothy Gale is a student Sorcerer at Ravenwood School of Magical Arts. She lives on Unicorn Way in Wizard City. During the Undead incursion of Unicorn Way, Private Connelly of the Wizard City Guard worried about Gale's mental well-being and sent the Wizard to check up on her at her house. She told the Wizard that she didn't like the Lost Souls roaming the street and that she wished someone could do something about them, also saying that sometimes she wished Auntie Em could join her as she'd feel better with her around.[1] She went on to tell the Wizard that she had planned to have her friends Tin Man and Mr. Toto over for dinner, but that they were running late. Fearing for their sake with the Lost Souls roaming the street, Gale had the Wizard check up on them at their house near Unicorn Park. There, the Wizard discovered that they were just about to be on their way, but that Tin Man couldn't find his oil can, not wanting to be seize up on the way there. Gale was relieved to learn that her friends were safe.[2]

- Dorothy Gale is a character that originated from the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. She is one of multiple characters in the early years of Wizard101 that were direct adaptations of characters from novels in the public domain. Two other characters from the book, Toto and the Tin Man, also appear. The characters are part of a two-part side questline comprising of "Yellow Brick Road" and "Not In Kansas Anymore."[1][2]
