The Black Lotus is a flower found throughout the Spiral. Worlds where the flower can be found include MooShu, Zafaria, Azteca, Khrysalis, Empyrea, Wysteria, Avalon, Celestia, Darkmoor, Karamelle, and Lemuria. The flower is used as a reagent for crafting,[1] and its spores are deadly if inhaled.[2]

- The Black Lotus appears in Wizard101 as a Rank 3 Life Reagent. It can be acquired from various sources including as a Normal Harvest from Black Lotus plants found throughout the Spiral.
- The inclusion of the Black Lotus in Wizard101 is possibly an homage to the card of the same name from Magic: The Gathering. The card belongs to the infamous "Power Nine" group of overly powerful cards from the original print runs of the game in 1993 and 1994. It is the most expensive Magic card and is considered the most iconic.[3]
