"Do you seek the Captain? His yarn and yours no longer intertwine. He has what he sought and now he has left."
"And what did he seek?"
"Knowledge. The Horde wishes to reach the Stone, but its winds tear at sails and it sits beyond the reach of any ladder. So like all lost among the tangles of their lives, they seek enlightenment from the Order of the Sacred Yarn. Or from our leader anyway."
―Acolyte Ang and Moo Bu[src]

Ang is the Acolyte of the Order of the Sacred Yarn. During the Golden Horde's raid on Catmandu, he was trapped inside of a Temple of the Sacred Yarn. The Wizard, with Moo Bu on their side, fought their way through the temple and saved Ang.[1] He would then instruct the Wizard to put out the fires from the houses in Catmandu in order to set things right.[2] Noting Moo Bu's lack of fighting, Ang instructed the Wizard to fight some Golden Horde warriors for their weapons in order to give to the residents of Catmandu to defend themselves.[3] After proving their heroism, Ang gave the Wizard the Sacred Key to the Sacred Elevator so that they could ascend the Sacred Cliff to the Sacred Monastery of the Order of the Sacred Yarn.[4]
